Remote Position - Volunteer
As a newly established international NGO, EMGPRD is building its Human Resources function from the ground up. The HR Specialist plays a pivotal role in establishing and improving core HR processes, including volunteer recruitment, job description development, onboarding, documentation, and volunteer engagement. This position requires a proactive individual who enjoys creating systems from scratch, identifying process improvements, and collaborating with department leaders to build a structured, inclusive, and sustainable volunteer management framework.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain clear job descriptions for volunteer positions.
- Coordinate the end-to-end volunteer recruitment process.
- Review applications and communicate with candidates.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with department leaders.
- Support volunteer onboarding and orientation.
- Maintain volunteer records and HR documentation.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify volunteer needs.
- Assist in developing HR policies, SOPs, and recruitment workflows.
- Support volunteer engagement and retention initiatives.
- Ensure timely, professional, and inclusive communication with volunteers.
